The Close Racing Supply ULMS Elite Driver Program increased to seven race teams with the addition of Ceres, NY driver, Jason Dobson in his #75 CJ Rayburn Chassis. Dobson is entering his third full time season in super late model competition after many years running street stocks and pure stock division. We want to welcome Mike Wonderling Jr of Wellsvillle NY to the Close Racing Supply ULMS Elite Program. Mike moved up to the super late model class last year from years of running RUSH Late Models and 360 late model class.
Michael’s father, Mike Wonderling Sr. and his brother Brady both have single ULMS feature wins with Mike Sr win being at Little Valley Speedway in 2001 and Brady winning last July at Genesee Speedway in Batavia, NY.
Mike Wonderling has indicated to ULMS officials he will not be ready for the season opener at Port Royal, but will be ready to tackle the rest of the 2018 ULMS season.
Mike joins Defending two time series champion, Dave Hess, Doug Eck driving the Suppa Racing #4s CJ Rayburn that Hess drove the past two years, Breyton Santee Race, John N Jess Weaver, Al Brewer and Max Blair as ULMS Elite Drivers.
The Close Racing Supply ULMS Elite Driver Program grew by one over night with the addition of Max Blair of Centerville, PA. Blair joins defending series champion, Dave Hess Jr., Doug Eck in the Terry Suppa #4s CJ Rayburn that won the title the past two years with Hess, plus Breyton Santee, John Weaver and Al Brewer as current contracted Zimmer’s Service Center ULMS Late Model Series teams.
