Mason Zeigler SWEEPS United Late Model Series “Night of Power” at Path Valley!

Chalk Hill, Pennsylvania native Mason Zeigler swept the night piloting his #25z Rocket Chassis to Close Racing Supply Victory Lane for the third time in five events this year with the Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series Fueled By VP Racing Fuels Saturday night at Path Valley Speedway in Spring Run, Pennsylvania.

Zeigler puts 20 more points in between him and second in points Brock Pinkerous who continues to keep the gap close in a tight points battle between the top five United Late Model Series Elite Teams!

With seventeen entries signed in for competition, the Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series set out for Qualifying that saw Zeigler set quick time over Jakob Piper and Brock Pinkerous. With three heats for the evening, Zeigler jumped out to an early lead over second running Gregg Satterlee to lock them both into the redraw. Piper lead the field to green in heat two, but it was second starting Ryan Montgomery that took the checkered flag with a late race pass. The final and third heat of the night saw Pinkerous and Ross Robinson on the front row. Pinkerous came out with the lead on lap one, however contact between the #555 of Pinkerous and #7 of Robinson resulted in Robinson spinning in turn two and the caution coming out put the #7 to the tail. Back to green, third place starter “Scrub” Rick Eckert applied heavy pressure on Pinkerous and eventually made the pass for the lead to win heat three!

Redraw saw Zeigler pull the pole position with Piper to line up on his outside to set the front row. Zeigler led the field to green in the thirty lap Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series main event! Zeigler immediately jumped out to an early lead while Piper and Montgomery battled for the second position. Coming out of turn four to complete lap one, sixth place starter Gregg Satterlee would hit the outside wall dropping to 16th and keep the field green. Robinson was quick to move up passing multiple cars in the opening laps. By lap nine the leaders hit lap traffic, Zeigler who had just been nipped two weeks prior at the line in lap traffic at the United Late Model Series Stars and Stripes Showdown Prelim showed he had the car capable to move around! He navigated through putting multiple teams a lap down by lap 12! With nineteen complete the first and only caution would come out for 7th place starter Logan Zarin as he went around in the top of turns three four. Zarin with no damage was able to region the field as they went green. Zeigler lead them back to green once again and went on to lead wire to wire in the thirty lap Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series “Night of Power” Presented By Dr. Zachary Crouse over Ryan Montgomery and Brock Pinkerous! Zarin would come back from the tail to finish sixth while 15th place starter Ross Robinson picked up the hard charger award!

The Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series Fueld By VP Race Fuels next event is a double header weekend scheduled for the Keystone State of Pennsylvania starting Friday, August 1st, 2025 at Selinsgrove Speedway for a $7,500.00 to win event with the United E-Mod Series on the card. They travel the following day to Marion Center Raceway for the $7,500.00 to win “Nathan Lauer Memorial” Presented By American Racer Tires!
