United E-Mod Series Announces Immediate Dissolution

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: February 24, 2026

(Pittsburgh, PA) – The United E-Mod Series (UEMS) has announced its immediate dissolution, citing a strategic shift of resources to the United Late Model Series and an unfortunate decline in events regarding the UMP Modified division throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.

Based in Pennsylvania, the United E-Mod Series was built on delivering premier UMP Modified events across New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Maryland. Since its return in 2023, the series established a streamlined, high-profile schedule complemented by loyalty programs that united teams from multiple states. UEMS quickly became known for its competitive purses, stringent technical standards, and a tour format that competitors and fans could consistently follow.

However, persistent weather challenges and track closures throughout the 2025 season limited the series to completing just 20 percent of its scheduled events. Looking ahead to 2026, multiple tracks have removed the division from their weekly programs, reducing the amount of special events, further limiting scheduling opportunities.

“Dissolving the series has definitely been a difficult decision… one we have not taken lightly,” said Trevor Zuver, Owner and Promoter of the United E-Mod Series. “The series accomplished exactly what we set out to do and what so many competitors had asked for: A premier tour offering high-dollar events, strict technical standards, and a schedule that teams across the region could support.”

Zuver noted that of the series’ typical 10-12 event schedule, four events were lost due to track closures, with few viable replacements available. Although initial plans were underway for a 2026 campaign, he ultimately determined it was not in the best interest of tracks, teams, fans, sponsors, and the series itself to move forward with a limited and uncertain slate.

Since 2023, the United E-Mod Series has paid purses to well over 100 teams and featured more than a dozen signed “Elite Drivers” who regularly supported the tour. The series was proudly supported by Close Racing Supply, United Late Model Series, Jay’s Automotive, Elite Motorsports (WEDGE Motorsports), Lindemuth Laser Etching, The Garage Crawl, B&T Milne Photography, Cousins Designs, Hi-Line Motorsports, DirtCar Racing, Hoosier Tire, Velocita-USA, Accelo Racewear, Three Rivers Karting & Entertainment, and United Appliances of Pittsburgh.

Over its recent tenure, UEMS sanctioned events at:

  • Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway (Imperial, PA)

  • Path Valley Speedway (Spring Run, PA)

  • Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, PA)

  • Hummingbird Speedway (Reynoldsville, PA)

  • Selinsgrove Speedway (Selinsgrove, PA)

  • Pennsboro Speedway (Pennsboro, WV)

  • Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, WV)

  • Stateline Speedway (Busti, NY)

Notable drivers from 2023–2025 included Champion Mason Lobb, Ty Rhoades, Vinnie DePizzo, Gregory Moore, Greg Hauger, Tim Gould, Jim Plance, Nolan Dalton, Jonathan Taylor, Evan Taylor, George Dixon, and David Stremme.

Previously, it tenured from 2007-2017, the series has crowned the following Champions in that time; Mason Lobb, Randy Hall, Joel Watson, Carl McKinney, Brent Rhebergen, Steve Dixon, and Josh Ferry.  Randy Hall sits first in all time wins in the series nineteen year stint.

While the United E-Mod Series concludes its chapter, Trevor Zuver remains fully committed to the continued growth and development of the United Late Model Series as it embarks on its 26th season in 2026.

“We’re eager and excited to kick off another year with the United Late Model Series,” Zuver added. “We’ve worked diligently throughout the winter to build a strong package for fans, teams, tracks, and marketing partners. That effort is already showing, with many new faces joining the premier tour with events across New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Maryland in 2026.”
