ULMS Racing Series returns home this weekend as the series visits McKean County Family Raceway and Eriez Speedway on Saturday June 16 and Sunday June 17th at Eriez Speedway in Hammett, PA.   The MCFR event on Saturday will see the Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Model Series compete for $2500 to win along with the Plyler Entry Systems UEMS Emod Series running for $1000 to win.   On Sunday, the ULMS Late Models head to Eriez Speedway for the annual father’s day Dick Litz Memorial paying $2900 to win.

The weekend begins at McKean County Family Raceway as the ULMS Racing Series makes its first visit of the year to the track it has called home since 2006.  Mike Maresca has retaken the series point lead from Max Blair heading into MCFR.   Maresca will be making his first ever visit to McKean while, Blair has been one of the dominant super late model teams over the past few years at MCFR.    The duo will be joined by Doug Eck, Michael Wonderling, Greg Oakes and Jason Dobson.   Other notables expected on hand are hometown favorite, Garrett Mott, former track champion and legend, Al Brewer, Mike Smith, John Lobb, Chris Hackett and Mike Pegher Jr. in the famous Cochran Pontiac #1c machine.

The Plyler Entry Systems UEMS Emods will make their debut of the 2018 season and very good field of open wheel Emods are expected on hand led by three time and defending series champion Joel Watson.  Joining Watson and his potent #92 machine will be Randy Hall in the Tim Engles #68 machine. Mike McGee, Brent Rhebergen, John Woodward Jr, Mike Eschrich, Ken Zimmer, Jack Young, Mike Potosky, Dennis Lunger Jr., Greg Johnson, Dan Sasso, Gary Eicher, Mike Kinney, Troy Johnson and Al Brewer is expected have both his ULMS Late Model and his UEMS Emod entries on hand.

The MCFR event will pay $2500 to win while the Plyler Entry Systems United Emod Series will also be in action on Saturday at McKean for $1000 to win.  MCFR utilizes the Red AMB Transponder for both ULMS and UEMS classes.  Rentals will be available at the track.  Entry Fee for ULMS will be $25 and $20 for UEMS entrants.   The UEMS tire rule is NO SOFTS on the rear for the UEMS Emod teams.  Reminder to the ULMS Late Model teams that the Hoosier 1300 or American Racer 44 tire rule will be in effect.

On Sunday at Eriez, the ULMS race teams are reminded that the Yellow Westhold transponders will be used at Eriez Speedway and the track and ULMS will have rentals available.  Entry fee for ULMS entrants will be $30.  ULMS Late Models will have hot laps and group time trial qualifying at both events while UEMS will receive hot laps and pill draw lineups at McKean County Family Raceway.
