With the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic that has been brought to our nation’s everyday public view, both managements of Port Royal Speedway and Williams Grove Speedway, along with ULMS Racing Series owner, Chris Zuver, decided it was for the best interest for everyone to postpone this weekend’s activities.

“I want to go racing as badly as anyone, especially since I haven’t seen a race since last October, but with all the government shutdowns and families starting to have issues with not working due to COVID-19, it is the best interest to sit back and let the process work, so we all can get back to our normal everyday life in the near future”, stated ULMS Racing Series owner, Chris Zuver.   “I am looking at the big picture.  It’s March and we have a long summer ahead of us for a lot of racing, so I am taking this approach as if it was weather-related postponement as that could have happened as well this time of year with the weather.”

Both tracks and ULMS Racing Series will be in contact in regards to making up these dates at a later time in the season, once normal life can resume in our region and our country.

As of now our 20th anniversary season kickoff will now potentially begin on April 10th at Williams Grove followed by show the next day at Selinsgrove Speedway on Saturday April 11th

We hope all our competitors, track operators, marketing partners and fans understand the difficult decision that was for both tracks and our series but at same time understand why this decision was made.  We wish each of you the best and hope you all stay safe and healthy and we will see you soon at the track!

Sincerely

Chris and Mandy Zuver – Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Model Series
