The ever growing Zimmer Service Center United Late Model Series schedule has grown to 23 events with the addition of the multi day Thunder Dog Weekend at Dog Hollow Speedway on Friday and Saturday September 13th and 14th.

ULMS Racing Series, President, Chris Zuver stated, “We are excited to be part of the Thunder Dog weekend as this is one event we have been wanting to have our series a part of for last few years but conflicts with other special events have kept us away. Dog Hollow has become one of our biggest supporters on our schedule the past two seasons and we are excited to be a big part of their season.”

The Thunder Dog weekend kicks off on Thursday September 12 with an open practice session for all classes followed up with a $3,000 to win Floyd Kline Classic Memorial on Friday, September 13 for the Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Model Series. The ULMS Super 6 Late Models will also be on hand along with weekly Dog Hollow race divisions.

The final day of the Thunder Dog Showdown Weekend will feature a 50 lap ULMS Late Model Series event paying a minimum of $6,000 to the winner. Dan Angelicchio won the last Thunder Dog Memorial in 2017 as he swept the weekend. Mother Nature won everything last year.

The Thunder Dog Finale will be the second highest paying event on the 2019 ULMS Late Model Series schedule and it will also join the other 2019 Dog Hollow ULMS events including the annual Connor Bobik Memorial, Same Barley Memorial, Shawn McGarvey Memorial and ULMS Speed Week events.

“Our 2019 schedule is close to being completed as it can be and we are very excited to kick off the season in a few weeks at Williams Grove and Port Royal for a three day opening weekend act and the chase to see who will become the 2019 Zimmer Service Center United Late Model Series champion and become $10,000 richer at end of the year,” said Zuver.
