Gregory “Spike” Moore WINS His First United E-Mod Series Event at Selinsgrove Speedway & Raceway Park!

ry “Spike” Moore won his first ever feature with the United E-Mod Series Friday night at Selinsgrove Speedway & Raceway Park in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.
The 2025 #UEMS Elite Driver picked up the Championship Points Lead over Mason Lobb who had mechanical issues with their hauler keeping them from being able to compete.
With a record low nine entries signed in for competition, the United E-Mod Series set out for Qualifying that saw North Carolina’s Cole Hilton set quick time. A single heat race was won by Hilton in his #99 machine over George Dixon and Ty Rhoades. David Stremme would pick up three positions to move into the fourth and final redraw spot.
Redraw saw Dixon pull the pole position with Ty Rhoades set to line up on his outside to complete the front row. Dixon led the field to green in the twenty-five lap United E-Mod Series main event, jumping out front over second running Rhoades. A sole caution on lap 23 for a slowed Mitch Thomas reset the field for a single file restart. With two laps to go it was all George Dixon with Spike Moore advancing through the field up into the second position. Front row starter Ty Rhoades retired from the race under green with a right rear flat. In what appeared to be a perfect race for Dixon once again turned out disastrous as coming to the white flag his right rear tire began to go flat allowing the #8w of Moore to take away the 24 lap lead that Dixon had garnered! At the stripe Dixon fell to fifth after leading all but the lap the counted while “Spike” Moore found Close Racing Supply Victory Lane over David Stremme and Cole Hilton. !
The United E-Mod Series next event is scheduled for the Empire State of New York Friday, September 12, 2025 at Stateline Speedway for a $5,000.00 to win event!
