SHARON SPEEDWAY “PRESENTS THE RETURN OF ULMS LATE MODELS” ON SATURDAY Sharon Speedway in Hartford, OH for the first time in two years will host the Zimmer’s Service Center Inc., ULMS Late Model Series this Saturday night. The ULMS late models will run a 25 lap event paying $2000 to win. Group hot lap qualifying along with qualifying heats, consolation and the 25 lap feature event will be on tap along with the weekly program of Sharon’s DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds, RUSH Sportsman modifieds, Econo Mods and Mini Stocks. Race time is 7pm with pits opening at 4pm and grandstands opening at 5pm.

“I am excited in returning the series to Sharon Speedway, stated ULMS Series owner and race director, Chris Zuver.” “Dave Willoughby and the staff at Sharon have always treated ULMS family good over the years and with this season being a complete rebuild year after the NDRL merger disaster, I want to make this event one of the best for Sharon Speedway, since they are one of the past tracks that still support the series.”

Past ULMS winners at Sharon Speedway are: Davey Johnson, Keith Barbara and past champions, Mike Knight and Boom Briggs who know follows the World of Outlaw tour and has contacted ULMS in regards to this event. Former Pittsburgh PA Motor Speedway champion, Michael Davis along with West Virginia racer, Corey Conley have confirmed they will venture to the Hartford Ohio oval. Stateline Speedway veteran, John Lobb of Frewsburg won the season opening ULMS event is the current point leader over Jared Miley of South Park, PA. Greg Oakes, John Volpe, Chad Valone and defending champion Jason Dupont are less than 8 points behind Lobb. Other expected racers are local hot shoe, Russ King who will be looking to grab his second career ULMS win along with Clay Ruffo of Mercer and other outsiders as well.
