The Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Model Series ventured to Genesee Speedway Saturday evening in Batavia NY for two $3000 to win events. The originally schedule event along with the July 4th makeup feature. David Scott and Max Blair picked up the wins on the evening in front of the capacity crowd on hand.
The opening night feature saw World of Outlaw Series driver Boom Briggs and dirt late model Hall of Famer, Chub Frank on the front row for the first 30 lapper. Chub powered around Boom in turns one and two to lead down the backstretch with Blair, Doug Eck and Mike Wonderling your top five on lap 1.
Lap three would see Bryce Davis move into sixth from his 10th place starting spot and quickly moved into fifth. Blair was hounding the 99B of Briggs for the runnerup spot as the 1* machine of Frank was several car lengths ahead. Davis was continuing his charge as he disposed of Eck on lap five for fourth. David Scott and Eck was battling each other for fifth until the yellow lights appeared on lap 7 for Mike Smith.
The restart saw Chub power ahead with Blair grabbing second from Briggs. Davis and Scott were challenging each other for fourth and Blair now started to pressure Chub for the top spot. Lap 11 would see the 1* and 111 machines cross the strip at nearly a dead heat with Chub holding a very slim margin while Briggs was still in third and Davis and Scott were continuing their battle for fourth.
At the halfway point it was still Frank over Blair as lap after lap they would be side by side. Slowride would take third from Briggs at the halfway mark also as Blair and Frank continued their side by side battle. Disaster struck for Davis on lap 23 as he would slow bringing out the yellow and he would retire for the night.
On the restart Chub again led the field with now David Scott challenging Blair. On lap 25 the 4s machine would roll around the bottom to take over the second spot from Blair and start challenging Frank for the top spot. Scott would eventually grab the lead from Chub and roll onto his second Zimmer Service Center win of 2019 over Frank, who was looking for his first Genesee win since 1989. Blair followed the top two with Briggs, Wonderling, Eck, Oakes, Nathan Hill Jason Dobson and Bryce Davis rounding out the top 10.

The July 4th make up feature which was originally part of the 6 race Hell Tour was the final event of the evening. Blair and Wonderling paced the field to green with Blair powering into turn one and taking the lead down the backstretch. Davis quickly took second on the opening lap as Scott and Frank picked up where they left off in the first feature battling for position.
Jason Dobson would bring the yellow out on lap five for a turn 2 spin. On the restart Wonderling took second back from Davis but the duo kept their battle going until lap 8 when Davis prevailed for the second spot. Lap 10 would see Blair by a second over Davis and David Scott now in third.
At the halfway point Davis started to close in on Blair as Wonderling was fending off the challenge of Frank for fourth. With ten to go, Scott was now closing in on Davis for second as Blair still held a full second lead and Frank now was ahead of Wonderling.
The final 10 laps clicked off quickly and the end, Blair would pick up his 4th Zimmer Service Center ULMS series win of the year over Davis, Scott, Frank, Wonderling rounded out the top five.
