Ryan Montgomery is ELITE in 2024!
The Fairmont, WV resident has joined the Lindemuth Laser Etching Elite Driver Program for his second consecutive year on tour! Ryan will look to once again chase the Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series (ULMS) Championship.
The Lindemuth Laser Etching Elite Programs guarantees Montgomery will receive a minimum of $500.00 for all ULMS events he qualifies for. $200.00 for any event he does not, the possibility for an Emergency Provisional if needed as well as other bonuses, manufacture deals, and availability to run for the points and receive certificates at the end of the year Championship Banquet.
2023 saw the Suppa Racing/Montgomery Motorsports super late model team run 100% of the Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series events. Win his one and only ULMS event of the year at Outlaw Speedway in Dundee, NY. Montgomery led the Lindemuth Laser Etching Fast Time Away of the Year going into championship night at Lernerville Speedway for the “Steel City Stampede”. With three fast times out of 12 events, only Tyler Emory would come and clinch it away. Montgomery finished second in the 2023 Jay’s Automotive ULMS Point standing as well as in the Chew On This – Jerky Rookie of the Year standings.
Throughout Montgomery’s career, he has established well over 200 feature wins. Coming from an national go-karting background, he claimed two World Karting Association Championships, three PDKS Championships, two VDKS Championships, three TDKS Championships, two Maxxis National Tour Championships, and two Maxxis Nationals Victorys. Montgomery would move into full scale race cars afterwards and hit the crate late model scene. Winning multiple memorial races in 2013 including the prestigious Bill Emig Memorial. In 2014 he clinched the RUSH Dirt Late Model Championship and has put himself 9th on the all time win list for the established crate late model touring series. A 2016 Fastrack World Challenge Winner, 2018 Ultimate Super Late Model Series Rookie of the Year, 2019 Ultimate Super Late Model Series Champion. A three time Queen City 50 Winner (2019, 2020, 2021), and the 2022 Dave Kittey Memorial winner. Latest his Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series “Summer Nationals” victory at Outlaw Speedway.
Montgomery pilots the both the #4s Capital Race Car and his family owner #12m Rocket Chassis Super Late Model owned by Suppa Racing and Montgomery Motorsports. Powered by Clements Racing Engines, Fox Shocks, and VP Racing Fuel. Montgomery is sponsored by Bomax Equipment Sales, Newlon’s International Sales, K2 Engineering, Montgomery Homes, Jarco Trailer Sales, Ray’s Carpet, Central Supply Company, Close Racing Supply (CRS), Suppa Racing, and Fox Racing Shocks.
