Burdette WINS at Tyler County with the Elite Motorsports United E-Mod Series!

Parkersburg, WV resident K.C. Burdette picked up his first victory with the Elite Motorsports United E-Mod Series Saturday night, August 10th, 2024 at Tyler County Speedway in the “Topless 30”.  A field of 31 Elite Motorsports United E-Mod Series entrants signed in to race at the Middlebourne, WV dirt oval alongside the Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series for the “30th Annual Topless 50”.

 

Coming straight into Lindemuth Laser Etching Qualifying (LLE), Burdetee would set fast time overall and take Group A.  Kurt Rogers and his 15R would be fastest in Group B.  Four United Construction & Pressure Washing Heat Races were set to follow.  Burdette would take the win in heat one.  Austin Self picked up where he left off at Hummingbird with the tour and won heat race number two. Shawn Jett and Tyler Stutler snagged heat wins three and four.  

 

The 30 lap, $1,500.00 to win Elite Motorsports United E-Mod Series main event would take the green second in the program for the evening.  Self and Lindemuth Laser Etching Elite Driver Mason Lobb would lead the field to the green. Shawn Jett and Austin Self would lead them to green.  A battle they would have as they traded the top spot early multiple times. Self would move to the bottom and Jett would eventually make the pass, however Jett would eventually spin out on the exit of turn four collecting the #23z of Austin Self ending Self’s night and sending the 11J to the tail.  Burdette would be given the race lead from the incident and never looked back leading the rest of the thirty lap event over second place Kyle Thomas and third finishing Tyler Stutler.

 

The Elite Motorsports United E-Mod Series thank’s everyone that came out in support of Saturday’s event and hopes to see everyone at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania Saturday, August 31, 2024 for the next Elite Motorsports United E-Mod Series event paying $1,000.00 to win and coinciding with the Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series topless “Ken Schaltenbrand Sr Memorial”.
