Ferree WINS “Dave Kittey Memorial” at Latrobe!

Ferree Returns to Close Racing Supply Victory Lane with the Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series clinching the “Dave Kittey Memorial”! Saxonburg, PA resident Alex Ferree captured his first Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series victory of the year Saturday night at Latrobe Speedway Park for the “Dave Kittey Memorial””.   Paying $5,000.00 to win, it was one of the richest paying super late model events the speedway has seen to date and Ferree came back with a vengeance from 2023 as a late flat tire would retire him from the race lead then.    With 17 entries, the Jay’s United Late Model Series set out for Lindemuth Laser Etching Qualifying which saw Dan Angelicchio set the fast time.  Alex Ferree would claim Rocket Chassis heat race number one and Gregg Satterlee won Keizer Racing Wheels heat race number two.  Three Rivers Karting & Entertainment Park redraw put Saxonburg, PA’s

Hardy Goes BACK to BACK at “Night of Power” with ULMS!

Path Valley & Latrobe NEXT!

Night of Power and Dave Kittey Memorial up Next! The Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series is set to get back into action this Friday and Saturday July 19-20, 2024.  Kicking off at Path Valley Speedway in Spring Run, Pennsylvania Friday night for Dr. Crouses “Night of Power” and then heading west to Latrobe Speedway for the previously rained out “Dave Kittey Memorial’.  Coming along with the tour will be the Lindemuth Laser Etching Elite Driver’s signed on tour in 2024 that will look to be out the local stars.   Friday, July 19, 2024 you can watch the Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series take on the bullring of Path Valley Speedway located in Spring Run, Pennsylvania.  What has now become a bit of an annual trip to the speedway for the tour will now be one of its richest events as well paying $5,000.00 to win and $500.00

Rhoades Strikes at Hummingbird!

Rhoades Strikes at Hummingbird with  First Elite Motorsports United E-Mod Series Victory of 2024!   Harmony, Pennsylvania resident Ty Rhoades put his TR2 Racing  #12r Lethal Chassis in Close Racing Supply Victory Lane Saturday night, July 13th, 2024 at Hummingbird Speedway. A field of 26 Elite Motorsports United E-Mod Series entrants signed in to race at the Jefferson County, Pennsylvania dirt oval.   The Elite Motorsports United E-Mod Series saw a total of 68 green flag laps from the drop of the green in hot laps till the checkered in the main event.  Early on, three sessions of hot laps would take place for the tour before going back out for Lindemuth Laser Etching Qualifying (LLE).  LLE Elite Driver Mason Lobb would take the top spot in qualifying in his #28 Lethal Chassis early on.  Three United Construction & Pressure Washing Heat Races would be set to follow.  From the

Johnson WINS at Lernerville!

Johnson Picks Up First Elite Motorsports United E-Mod Series Victory of 2024!   Sugar Grove, Pennsylvania resident Troy Johnson put his #2J Elite Chassis in Close Racing Supply Victory Lane Friday night, July 12th, 2024 at Lernerville Speedway. Hess Wins “Mike Farr Memorial”!

Hess Wins Meaningful “Mike Farr Memorial” with the Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series. Waterford, Pennsylvania resident Dave Hess Jr captured his first Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series victory of the year last Sunday at Eriez Speedway in the seventh annual “Mike Farr Memorial”!  Worth $4,100.00 to begin with, Hess ended up taking home $5,524.00 after it was all said and done.  Putting his #44 Longhorn Chassis in Close Racing Supply victory lane was an accomplishment for the #44 team, but solidifying his name in the history books as a winner of the coveted “Mike Farr Memorial” meant so much more.   Another swift program was pushed out by Series Director Trevor Zuver as they worked closely with Dave Alexander and the staff at Eriez Speedway.  An early medical emergency in the general grandstands halted the event for a mere thirty minutes; that didn’t stop the United Late Model

Troutman Sweeps The Night At McKean! Hyndman, Pennsylvania resident Drake Troutman captured his second ever career Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series victory worth $4,000.00 last night at the Smethport, Pennsylvania ⅜ mile Mckean County Raceway, this put him back in Close Racing Supply Victory Lane.  Tonight’s event makes Troutman three for three on podium appearances with the series in 2024.   A swift program was pushed out by Series Director Trevor Zuver as they worked closely with the staff at McKean County Raceway.  Track promoter Kurt & Bonnie Stebbins were able to bring what may have been the best track surface the speedway has seen in several years!
