The month of June is coming to a fast close but the big money shows are upon the ULMS Racing Series.  It all begins on Thursday June 28 thru Saturday the 30th at Tyler County Speedway for the Mega 100 Weekend.  The highlight of the weekend will be the $15,000 to win Mega 100 for the modifieds but the Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Models will still be competing for $9,000 in first place prize money and then on Sunday July 1st the ULMS Late Models head north on Interstate 79 to Eriez Speedway for the Mike Farr Memorial that will be paying $4100 to win plus over $1500 in lap money.

It all begins on Thursday night at Tyler County Speedway for night 1 of the Mega 100 Weekend.  Highlight of the Thursday night program will be the “Sanction Shootout” consisting of ten teams from six different modified groups in the country.  The Plyler Entry Systems UEMS Emod Series have invites to Joel Watson, Ken Zimmer, Greg Johnson, Shawn  Shingledecker, Gary Eicher, Dan Davies, Michael McGee, Rich Michael Jr., Dan Sasso, Mike Kinney, with alternate drivers of Randy Hall and Al Brewer being invited for the $1000 to win event plus a provisional spot for the Mega 100 on Saturday night.

On Friday June 29th the Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Model Series take center stage with 50 lap main event paying $7000 to win at the Bullring.  Max Blair will lead the ULMS Late Model Series into the Bullring as the new point leader over Mike Maresca and Doug Eck.  The top three Close Racing Supply Elite Drivers along with Mike Wonderling Jr and Jason Dobson are all expected to be on hand.  The Tyler County faithful of Kyle Thomas, Steve Weigle, Brian Baumberger, Derek Doll and Michael Lake will most definitely be defending their own turf with other invaders such as Jared Miley, Mike Pegher and Steve Casebolt attending.

The modifieds will be in action also on night 2 of the Mega 100 weekend with the “Let it Ride 55” event paying $3055 to win.   Some of the top modified drivers in the nation will be in attendance for the richest modified event on the east coast.

Saturday, June 30th will see the conclusion of the Mega 100 weekend featuring the Mega 100 for the open wheel modifieds paying $15,000 to win.  Past winners have been Jacob Hawkins in 2015 and 2016 and Taylor Cook won last year.   Hawkins and Cook will definitely be in attendance along with Kyle Strickler, Rodney Sanders, and David Stremme is few of many modifieds teams from all over the country attending this event.

The ULMS Late Model Series will be in action also with a 25 lap $2000 to win event.  With the event being postponed from early June till late June, track and series officials agreed on a smaller payout with the event being moved to a new date and not conflict with other already scheduled Saturday sanctioned events in the region.  Someone could walk away with $9000 by winning both ULMS events at Tyler County.

The weekend concludes on Sunday, July 1st for the Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Model Series as the series and teams head north on Interstate 79 towards Eriez Speedway for the 2nd Annual Mike Farr Memorial.  The event in memory of the former co-owner of Genesis Shocks and former Erie, PA resident that called Eriez his home track will have more than $1500 in lap money along with the 41 lap main event paying $4100 to win.

Jared Miley won last year’s event in a last lap pass of John Volpe.  Miley currently sits ninth in the ULMS points with one win on the year.  Very star studded fields of cars are expected to be on hand for the event.  Blair the series point leader has won the last two Eriez Speedway late model events including the ULMS Dick Litz Memorial.   Notable Eriez stars of Chris Hackett, Steve Kania, Bump Hedman, Andy Boozel, Darrell Bossard and Chad Wright will look to defend their home track from any of the ULMS stars including Blair, who calls Eriez home plus Maresca, Eck, Wonderling, Greg Oakes, Dobson and regional stars of Chub Frank, Miley, Boom Briggs, Colton Flinner, Alex Ferree, Dave Hess, Mike Knight and many others expected to be on hand.

ULMS Late Model Series rules will be in effect at all three events at Tyler County and Eriez including the Hoosier 1300 and American Racer 44 or harder tire rule on all 4 corners.  The modifieds will follow the American Modified Series (AMS) rules all weekend at Tyler County and UEMS teams that register with ULMS officials will receive 5 show up points for attending.  Tyler County uses the yellow Westhold Transponder for scoring while Eriez Speedway can use either the AMB or Westhold transponders.
