Mike Wonderling Jr. from Wellsville, New York is coming off a runner up finish in the 2019 Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Model Series points is already looking towards the 2020 ULMS North Region.
Wonderling the 2018 ULMS Rookie of the Year improved from his third place point finish in 2018 to finish behind series champion, Max Blair last season. Wonderling got his first ever super late model win in a non sanctioned event but rolled off 12 top tens and 6 top five finishes including one runner up finish behind Hall of Famer, Chub Frank at Freedom Motorsports Park in September, where it looked like he was going to get his first ever ULMS win.

Wonderling drives the Safety Kleen, The Store, Close Racing Supply, Cartwright’s Maple Tree Inn, CL Arnold Trucking, Pleasant Valley Contractors, Absolute Powder Coating, Velocity, Dynamic Drivelines, Integra Racing Shocks, Beyea Headers, Team Blair Racing, Hoosier Tire, Rocket XR1 #18 machine. The second generation driver will be looking to add his name to the ULMS win list that includes his father Mike Sr and brother Brady as past ULMS winners.
“I am excited for Mike as he has really stepped up his program in the past year. His alliance with Team Blair has brought his racing program to one of the top teams on our series the past few years. Mike was one of three race teams that have raced every ULMS race in the past two years. He no doubt will be one of the favorites in the ULMS North Region points along with selected ULMS South region events that he will enter this coming season. If Mike can turn the non top ten finishes from last year into top ten finishes and take those top tens from last year and put them into top fives this season he could become the very first Zimmer Service Center ULMS North Regions champion that will pay minimum of $7000 at the end of our 20th anniversary season stated ULMS Racing Series President, Chris Zuver.”

Don’t forget that the 20th anniversary season for the Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Models will kick off with a three day weekend starting on Friday, March 20 at Williams Grove Speedway and back to back events the following two days at Port Royal Speedway. All three events will be ULMS South Region events.
The ULMS North Region campaign will kick off on May 15 at Thunder Mountain Speedway. Make sure you watch for all the up to date information on the website at www.ulmsracing.com and follow ULMS on Facebook and Twitter. Mike Wonderling Racing can be found on Facebook also.
