Mike McGee of Warsaw, NY picked up his first career Zimmer Service Center UEMS Emod Series presented by Insinger Performance Sunoco Fuels on Sunday night at Tri City Raceway Park in Franklin PA.

McGee would get the quick jump on Dennis Lunger at the start of the race and held off the challenges of
Joel Watson as the first fourteen laps went green until a three car incident in turn 3 slowed the sh0w down and ended the night for Tim Peterson and Al Brewer.  McGee held off the charges of Watson, Mike Potosky and Brent Rhebergen when the yellow lights flashed again for a hard crash in turn four ending the night for Jack Young and former series three time champion, Randy Hall who was making his series debut in the Tim Engles #68 machine.

Under the yellow, Watson would go pit side with a left rear flat tire giving the second spot to Rhebergen with Potosky in third. The restart saw McGee pull away from both Rhebergen and Potosky with Potosky taking second from Brent.  Watson was working his way back thru the field but the checkers fell, for Mike McGee over Potosky Rhebergen, Jeff Johnson and Mike Kinney holding off Watson for fifth.  Heat winners were Shawn Shingledecker, Watson and Rhebergen.
