Max Blair of Centerville, PA capped off a career year with the Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Model Series with his tenth win of the year on the tour and was officially crowned the 2018 Zimmer Service Center ULMS Series Champion Saturday night at McKean County Family Raceway in East Smethport PA.  The win was worth $4000.

Blair set fast time in the Integra Shocks qualifying and won his heat event easily and his good luck charm, his wife redrew the number 1 pill for the feature.  Blair set a blazing pace the entire event only being slowed by two cautions and lapped up to the 7th place finisher.  Mike Wonderling Jr. the 2018 R&R Trannsmissions Rookie of the Year finished second for his best finish of the season.   Wonderling disposed of Dave Hess Jr., late in the event who fell to finish 4th behind Chad Ruhlman in the Terry Suppa CJ Rayburn ride that Hess drove for the past two seasons. John Lobb had a solid fifth place finish in the John Lacki #28 XR1 Rocket followed by Rich Gardner filling in the seat of the Tobber Racing house car and Bob Dorman was the final car on the lead lap.  Al Brewer the 1988 MCFR track champion came home 8th followed by Port Royal Speedway regular, Mike Lupfer and Andrew Gordon in a rare super late model appearance came home tenth.
