The highly anticipated western Pennsylvania and Ohio border late model season kick off fell victim to wet grounds after the early week snow fall and rain that the area is receiving.   Both tracks and series are looking for dates that will be feasible for all parties to make up this weekend events.

“It’s disappointing, but both tracks are very saturated and I agree with the track management at both facilities that we would be putting the teams on a very soft track that could very well tear up some equipment.  Both Sharon Speedway and Dog Hollow Speedway want to put the racers on the best surface they can provide and with this weeks weather, Im afraid we would seen lot of grader racing going on, stated United Late Model Series owner, Chris Zuver.”

Make up dates will be announced in the future if the tracks and series can find suitable dates.  The Zimmer’s Service Center ULMS Late Model Series is now off until Friday May 6 when it makes its inaugural visit to Big Diamond Speedway followed by a return visit to Port Royal Speedway on Saturday May 7th event.
