STRONGSTOWN , PA (July 7, 2018) – Warren , PA ’s Dan Davies scored the $1000 Victory in the first-ever appearance of the Plyler Entry Systems UEMS Modifieds at Dog Hollow Speedway. The new U4CS Mini Stock Series held their first race and Salix,PA driver Brady Miller held the $500 paycheck at the conclusion of the 20 lapper.

The Plyler Entry Systems UEMS Modifieds made their first visit to the Dog Hollow Speedway. Dan Davies used his outside front row starting spot to take the lead at the start of the 25-lap feature. Davies had pressure from 2012 series champion, Carl McKinney the first few laps. McKinney chased Davies until a lap 20 caution for defending two time champion, Joel Watson, who spun in turn two.  On the restart, series point leader Josh Ferry work past McKinney for second. Ferry stayed within a few car lengths but could not pass the flying Davies. Ferry had to settle for second followed by Mike Kinney, McKinney and John Boyd. Davies and Kinney were the heat winners

The 20-lap 4 Cylinder feature was the first event for the U4CS Mini Stock Series. 22 cars were on hand. Chuck Dizzle led the first two laps before Chris Anderson took over the top spot. Anderson was pulling away when he suddenly started to slow and parked his #15 Nissan ending his night. Brady Miller became the new leader on lap eight and drove off to  the win and a $500 paycheck. Miller’s car had a brand new engine in it after blowing up on Tuesday night. Second went to Kolton Wagner over Casey Burch, David Needham, Anthony Varner, Melvin McCartney, John Costa, Matt Weltz, Skyler, Eckenrode and Brett Bingaman. Qualifying winners were Anderson, Wagner and Miller.

The Plyler Entry Systems UEMS Modifieds will be back in action on Sunday night at Eriez Speedway for a $2000 to win 30 lap main event.  Race teams are reminded that either AMB or Westhold transponders will work at Eriez Speedway.   The U4CS Mini Series will be off until Thursday, August 16 at McKean County Family Raceway in part of the annual McKean County Fair.
