Colton Flinner is ELITE in 2024!

The Allison Park, PA resident has joined the Lindemuth Laser Etching Elite Driver Program for the 2024 race season.  Flinner is set out to chase the Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series (ULMS) Championship and the Chew on This – Jerky Rookie of the Year.

The Lindemuth Laser Etching Elite Programs guarantees Flinner will receive a minimum of $500.00 for all ULMS events he qualifies for.  $200.00 for any event he does not, the possibility for an Emergency Provisional if needed as well as other bonuses, manufacture deals, and availability to run for the points and receive certificates at the end of the year Championship Banquet.

2023 saw the Flinner race his #48 Longhorn Super Late Model for John Johnson Motorsports as well as the #75 Excel Racing Chassis owned by Deller Motorsports in the crate late model division.  Beginning in 2024, Flinner and Deller Motorsport’s announced his leave of the team to focus on his super late model racing with current car owner John Johnson.  Flinner having previously won a Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series feature event along with previously declaring to run for the Chew on This – Jerky Rookie of the Year Award normally would not have been allowed to run for the year.  However, with the new Rookie of the Year rules put in place beginning in 2024, Flinner is now eligible once again.  Series Owner/Promoter Trevor stated “I wasn’t happy with the eligibility rules put in place for the award, we have seen time and time again where individuals sign on and destroy a car, lose a motor or more and their season comes to a swift end before it starts.  Therefore they never ran the season or had a chance to be quote on quote a “rookie”.  The new eligibility requirements take that into consideration and we believe will benefit all involved.”

Flinner pilots the both the #48 Longhorn Chassis owned by John Johnson.  Powered by Cornett Racing Engines, Bilstein Shocks, and VP Racing Fuel.  Flinner’s primary sponsors are Johns Towing, Stans Transmission, River Salvage, New Point Lighting and Design, and Bruce Harvey Pro Comp Customs. He aims for the $8,000.00 Championship Point Fund and the $1,500.00 Chew on This – Jerky Rookie of The Year amongst other personal goals with his John Johnson owned team.  You can find Colton Flinner at the Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series Event’s in 2024!
