The ULMS Racing Series is proud to announce California-based company, Chew On This Jerky renewing their partnership with the Zimmer’s Service Center ULMS Late Model Series.  Chew On This Jerky will present the 2021 Rookie of the Year for the 2021 Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Model Series.

“I am proud to have Chew on This Jerky and owner Eric Bowlus rejoining joining the ULMS family for the upcoming season,” stated ULMS Series owner, Chris Zuver.  “With ULMS having two regions in the upcoming 2021 season, we will have two separate championship point races, which means we will also have possibly two separate Rookie of Year winners.”

The two regions (north and south) will award $750 to that regions Zimmer’s Service Center ULMS Rookie of Year presented by Chew On This Jerky.   If a driver competes in both regions, and is eligible for the Rookie of Year program, they could win both regions Rookie of Year.

Eligibility for the Chew On This Jerky ULMS Rookie of Year are as follows:

  1. Must register with ULMS before the third event of that region’s season.
  2. Driver MUST have never won a ULMS feature event or won a super late model race worth more than $3000.
  3. ULMS ―Rookie of the Year points will count at all point events in their selected regions for 2020.
  4. Upon registering for ULMS Rookie of the Year, driver may not compete for Rookie of the Year in future racing seasons.
  5. Driver(s) Selected as ULMS Rookie of the Year will be determined by highest finish in points (in each region) and declared Rookie of the Year at end of season banquet.
