The 2024 Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series season finally came to a close on Friday, January 10, 2025 with the Championship Awards Banquet.
The Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Late Model Series completed 20 of their 26 scheduled events in three states (NY, PA, WV) at 14 different venues. With an average of 23.45 cars per night that saw over 180 different drivers participate in Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series touring events. Just shy of $700,000.00 was paid out from the United Late Model Series to races in its 20 completed events as well! The “Elite Driver Program” continued to grow offering the teams over $40,000.00 in savings at the track and product. This was done through incentive programs with the following partners: Rocket Chassis, Integra Shocks, Keizer Racing Wheels, Hoosier Racing Tire, American Racer Tire, Velocita-USA, and Lindemuth Laser Etching, Eight drivers signed on previous to the season beginning. Of those eight, four were new drivers to the touring series and respectively known as some of the up and coming stars of the northern and mid-atlantic regions!
Lindemuth Laser Etching Elite Drivers of 2024:
#72 – Tyler Emory , #56 – Dylan Fenton , #48 – Colton Flinner , #27 – Michael Lake , #44 – Dylan Lewis, #4s – Ryan Montgomery , #10s – Dave Stamm , #1z – Logan Zarin
A tight points battle up to the mid-season showed it might be another year of Tyler Emory and Ryan Montgomery battling out, that was until Emory had to step away from the driver seat for the remainder of the year due to medical issues at the Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series event on July 18, 2025 at Path Valley Speedway. With that, it appeared Montgomery might walk away with it over Michael Lake and Logan Zarin. That was until the Montgomery team had to step away from weekly racing due to ongoing medical issues with team member. Due to this, the points chase back into the spotlight, Lake led the charge but Zarin continued to close. Coming into the last event of the season it was either’s championship to win! Lake would eventually come out on top taking both the Championship and the Chew on This – Jerky Rookie of the Year Award!
