For Immediate Release: September 01, 2026
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – Cabot, Pennsylvania’s Levi Yetter scored his first career Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series Presented By M&T Appliances victory in a big way at Tyler County Speedway, capturing the Second Annual Country Roads 100 and a career-best $20,000 payday.
A record field of 41 Super Late Models signed in for competition at America’s Baddest Bullring, packing the pit area with United Late Model Series Elite Drivers, Chew On This – Jerky Rookie contenders, and regional and national competitors representing several states from New York to Alabama.
Yetter started the night by setting Quick Time in Group B qualifying before backing it up with a victory in Heat Race Three. Daniel Hill paced Group A qualifying, while the four heat races went to Hill, Ryan Montgomery, Yetter, and Hudson O’Neal, locking each into the redraw for the top four starting positions.
A pair of #25’s claimed the evening’s B-Mains, with Mike Benedum and Mason Zeigler racing their way into the 100-lap main event.
Fairmont, West Virginia’s Ryan Montgomery drew the M&T Appliances Pole Position and led the field to green for the Second Annual Country Roads 100.
The opening stages went green as Montgomery, O’Neal, and Yetter battled for the podium positions around the Tyler County Speedway high banks. Behind them, Drake Troutman worked his way into the top five while 18th-starting Mason Zeigler wasted little time charging through the field and into the top ten.
The first caution came on lap 19, resetting a field that had seen just one competitor fall a lap down through the opening stages.
Back under green, Montgomery, Yetter, and O’Neal continued to control the front of the field while the action intensified behind them. Competitors raced three-wide throughout the pack as Troutman and Travis Brown battled inside the top five and Zeigler continued his march toward the front.
A caution on lap 45 involving Troutman and Brown brought the field to the race’s scheduled mid-race pit stop.
Teams were permitted to add one new tire and make mechanical adjustments while retaining their position in the running order. Any team electing to add two or more new tires was sent to the rear of the field, along with the cars involved in the caution. Many teams elected to bolt on a fresh right-rear tire while rotating their existing right-front and left-rear tires in preparation for the final 55 laps.
When racing resumed, the complexion of the Country Roads 100 began to change.
Zeigler had charged from the 18th starting position into the top five, joining current United Late Model Series Point Leader Jon Lee in the battle near the front. Zeigler continued applying heavy pressure while fighting for a podium position, but his charge took a hit when the #25 made heavy contact with the outside wall, dropping him back to fourth.
Meanwhile, out front, Levi Yetter had taken control.
Yetter worked his #10 flawlessly through lapped traffic and began putting distance between himself and the battle behind him. As the laps wound down, Lee and Montgomery continued their pursuit, but neither could mount the challenge needed to deny Yetter his biggest night yet.
After 100 laps around America’s Baddest Bullring, it was all Levi Yetter.
The Cabot, Pennsylvania driver crossed beneath the checkered flag ahead of Jon Lee and Ryan Montgomery, sending the #10 Penn Starr Ventures owned super late model into Close Racing Supply Victory Lane.
The victory marked Yetter’s first career United Late Model Series triumph and his richest career victory, earning him a massive $20,000 payday and forever adding his name to the list of Country Roads 100 Champions.
From Quick Time in qualifying, to a heat race victory, to standing atop the podium after 100 grueling laps, Levi Yetter completed a career night at Tyler County Speedway.
