𝐏𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐬𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐡, 𝐏𝐀 — Chalk Hill, Pennsylvania’s Mason Zeigler scored his second straight Jay’s automotive United Late Model Series Presented by M&T Appliances victory of the 2026 season Friday night at Outlaw Speedway, capturing the $𝟏𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎-𝐭𝐨-𝐰𝐢𝐧 𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐢𝐫𝐢 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥.

Zeigler, the 𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧, has opened his 2026 campaign in dominant fashion with two heat race wins and two trips to Close Racing Supply Victory Lane, already totaling $𝟏𝟓,𝟎𝟓𝟎 𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬.

The victory marked Zeigler’s 𝟏𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐡, tying him for seventh on the all-time wins list alongside veteran standouts Boom Briggs and 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐬.

A strong field of 𝟏𝟗 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 signed in on a brisk 50-degree evening in Dundee, New York, for the second scheduled event of the 26th season for the United Late Model Series. The pit area featured all nine Elite Drivers, six Chew On This – Jerky Rookie contenders, and several additional notable competitors.

Among those in attendance were Dave Hess Jr., who entered the night seeking his third straight Outlaw Speedway victory; Billy Pauch Jr., making his first-ever United Late Model Series start; local standout “Bam Bam” Brock Pinkerous; and many more.

Zeigler paced the field in hot laps, but it was Pinkerous who grabbed the top spot in qualifying. With five divisions and more than 100 cars filling the pit area, the program moved along efficiently as three heat races set the stage for the 50-lap Ted Siri Memorial main event.

At the drop of the green, Zeigler quickly jumped to the lead, but all eyes were on sixth-starting Dave Hess Jr. After jumping the cushion entering turn one and falling back to 10th, Hess regrouped quickly. By lap 10, the Waterford, Pennsylvania driver had tracked down Zeigler and made the pass for the lead.

Behind Hess, Brock Pinkerous, Zeigler, and Jon Lee battled hard for the runner-up position. By lap 20, Hess had opened nearly a straightaway advantage before heartbreak struck, as a mechanical failure ended his night prematurely.

On the restart, Zeigler brought the field back to green with 30 laps remaining. Pinkerous immediately applied heavy pressure to the reigning champion and took the lead exiting turn two. Seventh-starting Demetrios Drellos then moved into second and began pressuring the No. 555.

With five laps to go, Drellos and Pinkerous came together near the top of turn four, bringing out the caution after Drellos came to a stop off the topside of the speedway. Drellos, who had taken the lead on lap 43, made contact with Pinkerous under yellow and was disqualified from the event. The incident also ended Pinkerous’ hopes of capturing his first career United Late Model Series victory, as he suffered a left rear flat.

With five laps remaining, Zeigler inherited the lead with Jon Lee running second and 11th-starting Greg Oakes in third. They would finish in that order, closing out a cold but thrilling 50-lap main event at Outlaw Speedway.
