25th Anniversary Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series Chew On This Jerky Rookie of the Year — Brock Pinkerous!

(Pittsburgh, PA) — Fifteen-year-old Brock Pinkerous, of Ellenville, New York, has been named the 2025 Chew On This Jerky Rookie of the Year for the Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series (ULMS) Fueled By VP Racing Fuels.

In his first full season of Super Late Model competition, Pinkerous made an immediate impression, showcasing remarkable maturity, speed, and consistency. Building on his previous success in the 604 Crate Late Model division, Brock transitioned to the Super Late Model ranks under the guidance of veteran crew chief Russ King with RKR, proving he could contend with the best in the region.

New Year. New Division. New Series.

Entering 2025, Pinkerous and his BPR team set out to tackle their first full tour with the United Late Model Series — with clear goals of earning Close Racing Supply Victory Lane appearances, contending for the series championship, and capturing Rookie of the Year honors.

Throughout the season, the #555 machine consistently ran up front, posting several podium finishes and maintaining second and third in championship standings behind eventual champion Mason Zeigler. Unfortunately, a string of late-season engine troubles hindered their final push for a higher points finish and slipped back to seventh..

Still, Pinkerous’ poise and performance stood out, solidifying his place as one of the sport’s most promising young drivers and earning him the 2025 Chew On This Jerky Rookie of the Year title.
