Tire Rule effective Immediately: (3/14/2022)

Hoosier 1300 or American Racer 44 or Harder all 4 corners!!!

This is what we have used for The last several years. You do not have to check your tires in.

Commentary:

I know I had posted last week compound rules for this weekend’s events at Williams Grove and Port Royal. As I said in my original post I do NOT LIKE tire rules, especially compound rules. After talking to some more teams that have reached out to me and lengthy talk tonight with Bob Wirts he has ensured me that our normal rule that we have used over the years will be just fine with the tire situation that we are facing especially this weekend.

I don’t make rules just to make rules and especially to make more work for myself and my crew teching. I still believe you are going need a 1425 at Port Royal but hey maybe even a 1450 or 1600 is the right tire for the main event now. I am pleased what I was told by Bob with what is coming at the racers down the road in tire compounds that is needed in our region of PA/NY/OH/MD.

There may be a time this year due to tire availability where we may have to do a compound rule or something similar that I had originally announced last weekend. We will cross that bridge if we get there.
