The ULMS Late Model Series is proud to announce California-based company, Chew On This Jerky renewing their partnership with the Zimmer’s Service Center ULMS Late Model Series. Chew On This Jerky will present the 2022 Rookie of the Year for the 2022 Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Model Series.

“I am proud to have Chew on This Jerky and owner Eric and Grace Bowlus rejoining joining the ULMS family for the upcoming season,” stated ULMS Series owner, Chris Zuver. “This is our third year working with Chew on This Jerky and with Eric and Grace moving to Cumberland, MD last year, we will see them often at our events, where fans can purchase their very own Chew on This Jerky at ULMS events throughout the 2022 season.”

The past two seasons have seen Wyatt Scott and Deshawn Gingerich both capturing their Chew on This Jerky ULMS Rookie of Year titles. Both were worth $1,500 for each driver and the 2022 Chew on This Jerky ROY will again pay $1,500.

Deshawn Gingerich of Dover, PA captured the 2022 Chew on This Jerky Rookie of Year title with his first full year of competition with the Zimmer’s Service Center ULMS Late Model Series. Deshawn competed in every event on the 2021 schedule, which consisted of both the North and South regions.
Deshawn will be back in 2022 in his grandfathers #0 Creekside Auto Sale Rocket Chassis, as the now 16 year old driver will look to improve on his 2021 race finishes.

For driver eligibility for the Chew On This Jerky ULMS Rookie of Year are as follows:

Must register with ULMS before the third event of that region’s season.
Driver MUST have never won a ULMS feature event.
ULMS ―Rookie of the Year points will count at all point events in 2022.
Upon registering for ULMS Rookie of the Year, driver may not compete for Rookie of the Year in future racing seasons.
Driver(s) Selected as ULMS Rookie of the Year will be determined by highest finish in final and declared Rookie of the Year at end of season banquet.
