Bradford Speedway will have new management for 2020 season, with the new lease holder, Dennis Cummings of Wellsville, NY. The ULMS Series has held 5 events at the ¼ mile oval in Rew, PA since 2007 and each event has left the overflowing attendance standing on their feet.
The Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Model Series will hit the high banks on Sunday July 19. The event will be part of the ULMS North Region Series. Past ULMS winners at Bradford have been John Lobb, Greg Oakes in 2012 and 2017 and last year saw Bryce Davis and David Scott winning the two ULMS events.
“I am extremely happy to bring our 20th anniversary season to Bradford Speedway this coming season. I have known Dennis for about seven year’s and he has done a lot for many local race tracks in sponsoring events and adding money into purses, stated ULMS Series President, Chris Zuver. If it wasn’t for Dennis, there may not be a Bradford this season and my county, wouldn’t have a local racetrack within the county limits for the first time in my lifetime said Zuver.”
“If you have gone to Bradford to watch the super lates on that track, it is a action packed event, stated Zuver. You will need to get there early to get good seat as the place is always packed for the ULMS Late Model Series events and you would be shocked to see these drivers go three and a times briefly four wide on the tight little quarter mile. The drivers have lots of fun running the track and they know by end of the night the right rear quarter panel and spoiler is usually not still attached.”
