2R Excavating of Angelica, NY joined the ULMS Racing Series family for their 20th anniversary season for 2020. The family owned business operated by the father and son duo of Randy and Ryan Ralyea will present the season ending ULMS Hard Charger of the Year award for both the north and south regions.
“I have known Ryan and Randy for some time now and they have been supporters of many local race teams over the years and Randy raced a crate late model for a few years recently, stated ULMS Series owner, Chris Zuver. Ryan approached me about sponsoring the series in some sort and after about ten minutes, we worked out the 2R Excavating Hard Charger of the Year for both regions will receive $500 each at next year’s banquet.”
Each main event, any driver that improves their position from start to finish will receive a point for each position they gain. The North and South regions will have separate Hard Charger points and at end of the season the overall hard charger of the year will be awarded $500 in each region. If there is a tie, the tie breaker will be whomever is higher in that region’s overall points.
Don’t forget that the 20th anniversary season for the Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Models will kick off with a three day weekend starting on Friday, March 20 at Williams Grove Speedway and back to back events the following two days at Port Royal Speedway. All three events will be ULMS South Region events.
The ULMS North Region campaign will kick off on May 15 at Thunder Mountain Speedway.
