The Zimmer Service Center United Late Model Series will kick off their 2019 SPEEDWEEK HELL TOUR on Sunday June 30th at Old Bradford Speedway. The first of 6 events in 8 days for the ULMS Late Model Series with all events paying $3000 to win and a mini point fund to go along with it.

Old Bradford Speedway hosts the Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Model Series for the first time since 2016 when Greg Oakes picked up the win at the tight ¼ mile oval in Rew, PA. This will be Night 1 of the ULMS Speedweek Hell Tour and the 40 lap main event will see ULMS, Close Racing Supply Elite drivers of series point leader and defending champion, Max Blair, Mike Wonderling, Jason Dobson, Michael Lake and Mike Pegher Jr in action. The Firecracker 40 paying $3000 to win will bring back memories of the old Cantwell Johnson Firecracker 100 that was held at Bradford throughout the 1980s. This will be the 4th ULMS Late Model Series event held at Old Bradford Speedway with John Lobb holding off David Scott in 2006 and Greg Oakes winning in 2012 and 2016.
A huge crowd is expected to be on hand for the ULMS Speedweek kickoff event at Bradford as the late models always bring in a huge fan attendance. With Eriez Speedway leaving the late models off the program that same evening a very good field of super late models is expected to be on hand.

ULMS will then head to Dog Hollow Speedway after a two day hiatus after the Bradford Speedway event. Wednesday, July 3rd will see the Sam Barley Memorial take place at Dog Hollow. This will be the first of two Hell Tour events at Dog Hollow as Thursday July 4th will see night 3 of the Hell Tour also at Dog Hollow. The two events will pay $3000 each to win. Max Blair picked up the most recent ULMS series win at Dog Hollow with Kyle Hardy and Michael Lake having ULMS wins at the dog pound last year. The Dog Hollow stars of Cody Hardesty, Kirk Baker, Shawn Claar, John Myers and John Weaver will be looking for their first career ULMS win and defend their own turf.

Friday, July 5 sees the Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Model Series head north into New York State with a return trip to Freedom Motorsports Park for the 15th annual USMC Corporal Jason Dunham Memorial. The $3000 to win main event will be in honor and memory of the Medal of Honor recipient and Scio NY native.

In a normal checkpoint in Karabilah, Iraq, an insurgent leaped out and attacked Cpl. Dunham. During their struggle, he saw the insurgent release a grenade. Cpl. Dunham immediately then alerted his fellow Marines to the threat. Without hesitation, Cpl. Dunham covered the grenade with his helmet and body. He absorbed the brunt of the explosion and shielded his Marines from the blast.
In an ultimate and selfless act of bravery, in which he was mortally wounded, he saved the lives of at least two fellow Marines. He died eight days later from his wounds. USMC Corporal Jason Dunham is a True American Hero that will never be forgotten by the race fans and family of the Dunham family in western New York.
The USMC Corporal Jason Dunham Memorial is the second ULMS event of the year at Freedom. In May, David Scott picked up the ULMS win in the Ron Baker Memorial. Since then, Bryce Davis picked up a weekly win and Max Blair won the tracks season opener in mid-May.

Saturday July 6th the Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Model Series rolls into Jim and Jean Scott’s Stateline Speedway for night 5 of the Hell Tour! This will mark the first visit to Stateline since 2015 when John Lobb found victory lane after Jared Miley and Jason DuPont crashed coming to the checkers. The 30 lap main event paying $3000 to win should be an exciting event as Stateline has had 4 different winners in four events to date. Chub Frank, Max Blair, Dave Hess and defending track champion Ryan Scott have found Stateline victory lane in 2019. The ULMS faithful of Blair, Wonderling Dobson, Lake and Pegher will have their hands full with Chub, Hess, the Scott trio of David, Wyatt and Ryan Scott along with Darrell Bossard, Chris Hackett, Bump Hedman and many of the Stateline weekly heroes.

Eriez Speedway hosts the final night of the ULMS Speedweek Hell Tour with the annual Dick Litz Memorial. The 29 lap event is in honor of the Eriez Speedway legend in the famous yellow #29. The event will pay $2900 to win as usual. Max Blair is the defending Dick Litz Memorial winner, winning the ULMS sanctioned event in 2018. Blair has won both super late model events at Eriez so far this year. The track has been plagued by weather cancellations. Blair swept both ULMS events last year at Eriez by winning both the Litz Memorial and Mike Farr Memorial. The Eriez stars of Brandon Groters, Steve Kania, Chad Wright, Mike Knight and Matt Urban will no doubt be looking to stop Blair and the other ULMS stars from collecting the Dick Litz Memorial.
ULMS Racing Series procedures will be in place, which includes time trials, minimum 8 lap qualifying heat events, consolation events (if needed) and 30 lap main event (exception for Bradford being 40 laps). Time Trials per ULMS rules will be the following: 3 heats will be straight up; 4 heats will result in A&B group qualifying. If there are 4 heats or less, the top 2 heat finishers will redraw for their feature starting positions, otherwise, heat winner only will redraw (5 or 6 heats).
The ULMS Late Model Series tire rule is Hoosier 1300 or American Racer 44 or harder on all 4 corners. All late model teams must present their cars along with safety equipment (helmet and Hans device if they have not participated with ULMS in 2019 or entering a different car) at pre-race safety and car inspection.
Dog Hollow Speedway will be utilizing the yellow Westhold transponders for scoring and timing. Freedom Motorsports Park will utilize the AMB/Mylaps Transponder, while Stateline and Eriez both Westhold and AMB/Mylaps can be used. Old Bradford Speedway transponder brand will be announced in the near future. All teams must present their transponder number to series officials upon registration. Raceivers are mandatory during all Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Model Series action.
No cars will be allowed on the track before completing tech. Any driver late for tech will get one lap in qualifying once they complete and pass pre-race tech.
ULMS Integra Shocks Qualifying Time Trials (2 cars at a time) will be held to determine the qualifying heat race lineups. ULMS Entry Fee for each Hell Tour event is $40.
The Point Fund for the ULMS Hell Tour is based on all six events being completed. The point fund will pay 7 spots and to be eligible the driver must run in at least 5 of the 6 events. The ULMS Speedweek Hell Tour Champion will receive $1200 followed by $700, $500, $400, $300 and $200 for sixth and 7th in the final points of the Speedweek. If events are lost due to weather, the point fund will be adjusted accordingly.
Joining the Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Models during the Old Bradford Speedway and Dog Hollow Speedway events will be the Super6 Late Model Series. The ¾ scale v6 powered dirt late model series will be making their third weekend of action with the ULMS Series. Frank McFeathers, Levi Spinneweber, Curtis Stivason, Jason Willard, Ed Dunkel, Joseph Anderson, Nathan Mechling, Craig Cummings, Mat Cajka are few of the Super6 Late Model teams that will be tackling the high banks of Old Bradford Speedway and Dog Hollow Speedway on June 30th and July 3rd and 4th.
