As the ULMS Racing Series continues to grow, we are proud to announce we have hired, Ken Leet of Bradford, PA as the official series announcer for the remainder of the 2018 season and will be looking to sign him for a long term agreement for the ULMS Racing Series consisting of the Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Model Series, the Plyler Entry System UEMS Emod Series and the newly announced United 4 Cylinder Series that will officially begin in 2019.

“I am very pleased to have Ken on board with the series,” stated series owner, Chris Zuver.  “Ken and I go back many years and he was also instrumental in the growth of the ULMS series in the ten years ago when he and his partners, Tom Gleason, Rich Yeager and Rod Biehler took Mckean over and helped put ULMS in the limelight.”     “I am looking forward to helping Zoomer and the ULMS series out with as many shows I can, there be some I wont be able to attend due to my new job,” commented Leet.  “I enjoy announcing and enjoy the communication with the fans about the show that’s going on and working with the host tracks announcer and being part of the ULMS Racing Series family.”

Ken has many years of experience in racing, from being a crew member for the late Dave Lundgren along with semi- retired driver, Rich Gardner along with being part of the former McKean Motorsports Management team that operated McKean County (Family) Raceway from 2006 till 2012.  It was Ken and his partners that developed the annual Fall Classic that is held each September at the Smethport oval and is still on the 2018 schedule.  Ken’s announcing stints have been part and full time announcing at McKean County since 2014 along with Bradford Speedway in Rew and he did some on track announcing earlier this year at Stateline Speedway.  Some of his favorite announcing memories were co-announcing with his mentor, Rod Biehler and World of Outlaw Series announcer Rick Eschelmen.

“I am trying to put the ULMS Series on the map, not just as a late model series but as an entire package with the three series, our tech personnel and now having Ken as the series announcer just make the series a little more appealing, commented Zuver.”    “We have more news coming soon in regards to a alliance with a another program that will become part of the ULMS Series family and that will only make ULMS Series stronger as we head into 2019.”
