The 2021 Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Model Series kicks off its 2021 season on March 19 at Williams Grove Speedway followed by two events Port Royal Speedway for a three day opening weekend marking the series biggest season ever! The 2021 schedule currently has 48 events listed for both the North and South regions of the ULMS Racing Series.
Each region’s champion will receive $7,500. If one driver sweeps the two regions, we plan on paying a $10,000 bonus and that driver would grab $25,000. If for some reason a driver does not sweep both regions, but wins the overall/combined point championship, there will be an additional bonus of $2,500 for the 2021 Zimmer Service Center ULMS National Champion. One way or another the national champion for ULMS will receive a minimum of $10,000 or a maximum of $25,000 for the 2021 season! The overall point fund for 2021 will be $50,000 including the $10,000 National Championship bonus.
We plan on paying the top 6 in points in each region a total of $20,000 in year end point fund next year at our banquet. The point fund break down per region is $7,500 $4,000 $3,000 $2,500, $2,000, $1,000. “This is really good money for a driver who does not want to driver a ton of miles, stated ULMS Series owner, Chris Zuver. Of the 48 events we currently have 33 of them are in the state of Pennsylvania and several others are just across the border in neighboring states.” The series will be paying out a million dollars in purse and point fund money in 2021 to the race teams! “That is damn good money to race cloes to home and not travel all over the country, stated Zuver.”
The Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Model Series has received notification that three time defending series champion and all time ULMS feature winner Max Blair will be back to defend his title and plans are to compete in every ULMS event on the 2021 calendar in both regions. The #119 machine of Bryan Bernheisel plans on running the entire South region. The 2019 ULMS Rookie of the Year and points runner up, Mike Wonderling has indicated he plans on running the entire ULMS North Region. Other drivers expected to run for the ULMS North region are 2020 Chew on This Jerky ULMS Rookie of Year and point runner up, Wyatt Scott along with his dad, David “Slowride” Scott in the Terry Suppa #4s.
“We feel there will be a great quality of teams in both regions following the series this year in their respective regions, stated Zuver. I can see the South Region having drivers such as Jason Covert, Gregg Satterlee, Dylan Yoder, Jeff Rine, Tyler Horst, Shaun Jones, Matt Cosner, Gary Stuhler, Ross Robinson and occasional visits of Rick Eckert at our events along with Bernheisel.” “The north region should have a great list of racers competing also with Blair obviously leading the way, but don’t count out the Scott’s, Greg Oakes, Mike and Jeremy Wonderling, Doug Eck, Dave Hess, Chub Frank, Matt Lux and several others. The winners of these events are going be the fans as they will no doubt see some if not the best regional racers compete at our events in 2021.” The Combined region events at Bedford, Thunder Mountain and West Virginia Motor Speedway should be phenomenal with both regions top teams and other outside regional and national teams competing. 2021 is looking very exciting for the race fans!
The ULMS Racing Series is still accepting all marketing partnerships for the 2021 season and if any business is interested in joining the ULMS Racing Series family in 2021 please contact Chris Zuver at ulms_racing@hotmail.com.
