E. SMETHPORT, PA…..Night two of the Nittany Minitmart Fall Classic at McKean County Raceway, presented by Ungermann’s Sand and Gravel, was headlined by the Zimmer’s Service Center United Late Model Series (ULMS) and a 30 -lap, $3,000 to win feature event. Max Blair would grab another MCR win during a ULMS event and also captured the 2021 ULMS National Championship with Friday night win.
Greg Oakes took the lead from Max Blair at the start of the 30-lap ULMS feature event, and by lap 5, the leaders were already in traffic. Blair used the lapped cars to snag the lead from Oakes on lap 8 as Wyatt Scott battled Mike Lupher for third. The yellow flag flew at lap 15 and Oakes went pitside, with Scott grabbing second on the restart. Another yellow on lap 22 bunched the field and on the restart Mike Wonderling nearly rolled his car in a turn one mishap. When racing resumed, Blair pulled away from Scott and took the win, with Lupher, Brett Schadel, and Ryan Montgomery rounding out the top five.

On Saturday Max Blair swept the Zimmer’s Service Center ULMS Super Late Model action at the Nittany Minitmart Fall Classic at McKean County Raceway by winning Saturday’s Priority Care Race Fan feature in dominant fashion. Blair took the lead from the pole and pulled away, leaving Wyatt Scott and Mike Lupher to battle for second in the first half of the event. Ryan Montgomery started to move forward in the second half of the event and started putting pressure on Scott. Two contenders dropped out in the late stages of the race when Greg Oakes fell out on lap 26 and Scott also had misfortune, dropping out on lap 33. Blair was able to holld off Montgomery on the final restart to take the win, with Dutch Davies in third, followed by Deshaun Gingerich and Damian Bidwell..
