The Zimmer Service Center Inc ULMS Late Model Series month of money continues this Friday and Saturday night at Thunder Mountain Speedway and Freedom Motorsports Park for back to back events. This will be the third event of the year at each facility.

Friday night at Thunder Mountain Speedway in Brookville, PA will see the 2nd annual Eric Witherite Memorial paying $3000 to the winner. The 30 lap main event will pay $300 to start also. Boom Briggs and Jared Miley have the two ULMS wins on the year at Thunder Mountain. Miley is expected to be on hand.

The Thunder Mtn Speedway stars of Charlie Powell, Doug Eck, Mike Blose, Bob Dorman, Gale Huey, Kyle Knapp, Steve Arthurs are expected to defend their home turf against the ULMS Close Racing Supply Elite teams of Dave Hess Jr., Greg Oakes, Breyton Santee, John Weaver, Max Blair, Damain Bidwell, Mike and Brady Wonderling.

Race teams are reminded that pits open at 5pm with grandstands opening at 530pm. Driver Meeting and Pill Cut off is at 6:50pm with ULMS Hot Lap Qualifying afterwards. Racing begins at 7:30PM. Entry Fee for the Eric Witherite Memorial is $30 and RED AMB Transponders are necessary for this event.

ULMS will head north on Saturday to the empire state and make their third and final visit to Freedom Motorsports Park in Delevan NY for the “Big Dog Saturday” featuring the ULMS Late Models and the Big Block Outlaw Modifieds. The ULMS Late Models will run a 30 lap main event paying $2500 to win and also the overall fast time qualifier will pay $300 courtesy of Murphy Logging.

The previous two ULMS events this year had a packed grandstands saw Max Blair and series defending champion and point leader, Dave Hess pick up the wins. Both of those drivers along with Oakes, Santee, Weaver, Wonderlings, Nathan Hill, Brent Rhebergen, and the return of Chad Ruhlman in a second Terry Suppa owned CJ Rayburn entry.

Race Teams are reminded that pits open at 4pm, grandstands open at 5pm with driver meeting and pill cut off is 5:45pm with hot lap qualifying afterwards and racing beginning at 6:30pm on Saturday night at Freedom. The entry fee is $25 and Red AMB Transponders are needed for Freedom Motorsports Park “Big Dog Saturday”.
