Bryan Bernheisel of Jonestown, PA has indicated the family owned #119 will be battling for the 2020 Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Model Series new South Region title.  Bernheisel Race Components was one of the very first ULMS Series marketing partners when the series first started in 2000.  The family patriarch, Jim entered the very first ULMS event in August of 2000 at Utice Rome (NY) Speedway.

Bryan will be entering his fourteenth season behind the wheel.  Bernheisel collected two wins, 12 Top-5 finishes, and 19 Top-10 outings including his first ever ULMS series win last July at Clinton County Motor Speedway, where he was also set fast time during the evening. He also captured the Route 35 Series point’s championship.

“As my dad’s career winds down I’m proud to become the team Lazer primary driver,” said Bryan Bernheisel. “I know I have big shoes to fill but I’m looking forward to the challenge. My brother and crew do a great job keeping the cars in tip top condition. We’re expecting big things moving forward.”

“I am excited to have Bryan and the entire Lazer Chassis team come on board for the 2020 season for the south region.  Jim, Brandon and Bryan have been pleasant to me over the years and I look forward to seeing the Lazer #119 on the southern region tour.  Bryan is very talented and brings creditability to the series as a  former track (Selinsgrove) and series (Route 35) champion. He also could become the very first Zimmer Service Center ULMS South Regions champion that will pay minimum of $7000  at the end of our 20th anniversary season stated ULMS Racing Series President, Chris Zuver.”
