Tyler Horst of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania has become the first driver to sign up for the 2020 Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Model Series Rookie of the Year program presented by Chew on This Jerky.

The 23 year old driver captured the 2019 Winchester Speedway late model track championship and now sets his sites on 2020 Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Model Series South Region championship and the 2020 ULMS Chew on This Jerky Rookie of Year program.

Chew on This Jerky of Corona, California will be putting up $1500 towards the 2020 Rookie of the Year Program. With the series having two regions for the first time in its 20 year history each region will pay a minimum $750 to each ULMS “Chew on This Jerky” Rookie of Year. If for some reason the north region does not have any drivers sign up for the Rookie of Year program the entire minimum $1500 will go to the south region Chew on this Jerky Rookie of the Year chase.
“I am excited to have Tyler come on board for the 2020 season for the south region and the Chew on this Jerky Rookie of Year program. I met Tyler two years ago at Mansfield and we kept in touch online and he was a pleasure to have at a few of our events last season. He is young and talented and brings creditability to the series as a track champion and he could become the very first Zimmer Service Center ULMS South Regions champion that will pay minimum of $7000 at the end of our 20th anniversary season stated ULMS Racing Series President, Chris Zuver.”
