The Zimmer’s Service Center ULMS Racing Series returns to action on Friday and Sunday, August 18 and 20th at Freedo.m Motorsports Park and Tri City Raceway.  The ULMS Late Models return to Freedom for a $2,500 to win event after last months successful event at the 1/3 mile oval in Delevan NY.  Max Blair has won the past two ULMS events at Freedom.  The UEMS series last event was postponed by rain and they will be in action on Sunday August 20 at Tri City Raceway Park for the first time in two years for a $1000 to win event.

Dave Hess Jr. currently leads the ULMS point battle over Greg Oakes and Damian Bidwell heading into the Freedom event.  With a additonal $300 on the line for overall fast time supplied by Murphy’s Logging, someone could walk away with $2800 that evening.  Last month the track record was dropped by five different drivers during qualifying.   Race teams are reminded that RED AMB Transponders are needed for this event.  The track has limited rentals available. ULMS also advise teams that have the yellow westhold transponder to bring also just incase if there is not enough RED AMB transponders for the ULMS Late Models, we will use the series yellow westhold system then and ONLY then.

Come out and experience the special “Thrill on the Hill” excitement that the ULMS Late Models produce at the area’s fastest racetrack. Grandstands open at 6:00 pm and racing starts at 7:30 pm on Friday August 18. Adult admission for this special event is $17, seniors are $15, students (9-15) are $8 and kids under 8 are admitted free. On Sunday August 20th, the UEMS Emods visit Tri City Raceway Park in Franklin PA.  The half mile facility has seen several UEMS events over the years.  Last year’s event was washed out.  David Scott and Joel Watson split the three events in 2015, they currently sit in the top two spots in the 2017 point chase.  They along with Josh Ferry, Carl McKinney, Dan Davies, Al Brewer, Shawn Shingledecker, Mike Kinney and others.  The entry fee for the UEMS Emods is $20.  Red AMB transponders are needed for this event also, rentals will be available at the track.  UEMS tire rule of no softs on rear will also be enforeced.  Admission Prices for adults (18 and Older) $20.00, students (13 -17) $ 5.00, children 12 and Under FREE, Pit Admission $35.00
