This Thursday night kicks off the 12th annual MCR Fall Classic weekend presented by Herc Rentals. The three day racing extravaganza has a $88,000 purse for the 175 expected racers. The ULMS Late Model Series highlight the three days with $7,500 possible to win over the three day event.

Thursday night kicks off at 7:30pm with MCR Championship night. The seven division program will pickup where the Saturday July 22 event that was partially rained out. New entries are allowed to join. The Close Racing Supply RUSH Pro Mods and Mary Norgrove’s Notary Public Mini Stocks did not complete any of their heats that evening. The Super Late Models will be running for $1500 to win while the Little Power Shop RUSH Late Models will compete in the Ron Baker Memorial $1000 to win Championship event. The Street Stocks will race for $400 in the Jim Cobado Memorial championship event while the Zimmers Service Center UEMS Emods compete for $1000 to win. Championship events for the Raught’s Country Kitchen Pure Stocks and Mandy’s Young Guns also on Thursday night. Pits open at 4pm Thursday with grandstands opening at 530pm. All Pit Passes are $30, with adult grandstand tickets $15, Senior Citizens $12, kids (6-15) $10, Family Pack is $40 and kids under age 5 are free. Rain checks from July 22 are still valid for this event only!

Friday will see the Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Model Series compete in the $3000 to win USMC Corporal Jason Dunham Memorial. The race in honor and memory of the fallen Medal of Honor receipient US Marine who’s father was a competitor at MCR in the 1990s an early 2000s. Also on the program will be full program for the street stocks, pure stocks, mini stocks, RUSH pro mods, Mandy’s Young Guns and qualifying heats for the RUSH Touring Late Model Series, and UEMS Emods. Both, the ULMS Late Models and RUSH Late Models will have time trial qualifying and both will use Yellow Westhold transponders. Pits open at 4pm Friday with granstands opening at 530pm. All Pit Passes are $35, with adult grandstand tickets $15, Senior Citizens $12, kids (6-15) $10, Family Pack is $40 and kids under age 5 are free. Racing begins at 7:30pm.

Saturday concludes the 3 day extravaganza of the MCR Fall Classic weekend. The 13th annual Stephanie Eckl Memorial for the ULMS Late Models highlight the final day with the RaceFAN 30 paying $3000 to win. Max Blair has won the past two Fall Classic finales at MCR. The RUSH Late Models will have their consolation events and the $2500 to win main event, while the UEMS Emods will have their consolation and $1500 to win championship event. Also the Penn Ohio Pro Stocks Series will be running for $1000 to win. Last year nearly 40 competitors were on hand for the Penn Ohio division. Rounding out the program are Pure Stocks, Mini Stocks and Mandy’s Young Guns to close out the 2017 racing season. Pits open at 11am with Ultimate Fan grandstand entry beginning out at 2pm. General admission grandstand entry begins at 2:30pm. Pit Passes are $40 with Adult grandstand admission is $20 with Senior Citizens $18, kids ages 6-15 years of age $10 and the Family Pack is $55 and kids 5 and under are free. Penn Ohio hot laps, ULMS Hot Lap qualifying will begin at 4pm with race time at 5pm.
