The Zimmer’s Service Center ULMS Late Model Series gears up for a two day swing this coming weekend with stops at Thunder Mountain Speedway and Pittsburgh PA Motor Speedway with a total winners share of $6553 possible.

Friday night action is kicked off at 7:30PM at Thunder Mountain in Brookville, PA. The 30 lap event will pay $3000 to the winner. Last year John Volpe won his only ULMS event of the year and the year before Jared Miley was the ULMS winner at Thunder Mountain. Exepected ULMS entries are the Close Racing Supply ULMS Elite teams of defending champion and point leader Dave Hess Jr., Greg Oakes, Charlie Powell, Bobby Rohrer, Breyton Santee, Damian Bidwell, Max Blair, John Weaver, Billy Dickson and Kyle Knapp. Those racers and many more will be on hand for the $3000 to win event. Registration and pill cut off is at 7PM with Hot Lap Qualifying beginning at around 7:30m. Pits open at 5pm grandstands 5:30PM. $30 for pits and grandstands are $18 adults $14 senior citizen ages 7 to 17 is $10 and 6 an under are free. Driver meeting and ULMS Pill cut off for Hot Lap Qualifying is at 7pm. ULMS Entry fee will be $30 with ULMS tire rule of Hoosier 1300 or American Racer 44 or harder on all 4 corners. AMB Transponders are needed.

Saturday, the ULMS Late Model Series roll into the Monster Half Mile in Imperial PA. The Red Miley Rumble kicks off the 2017 season at Pittsburgh PA Motor Speedway with a 35 lap event paying $3553 to win and $353 to start. The CRS Elite drivers will have their work cut out for them against the very tough PPMS regulars. Mike Pegher Jr in the Lynn Geisler Cochran Pontiac 1c along with Brandon Burgoon, Mike Norris, Alex Ferree and Keith Barbara will be the notable cars to beat on their home turf. Grandstands open at 5pm with hot laps beginning at 6pm with ULMS Integra Shocks Hot Lap Qualifying and racing at 7pm. For more information about PPMS, please visit www.ppms.com.
